Career Overview:

Uzma is the Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office and has spent over 20 years in public accounting. Prior to joining SBC she began her career in public accounting with KPMG. She is active in many professional and community organizations, including serving on the Board of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and Chair of its Audit Committee. She is also former board member of the Ben’s Chili Bowl Foundation, the U Street Theatre Foundation, Youth Power Center, and Fingerprints Child Development Center. She has served many Corporations from early stage start-ups to Fortune 2,000 entities. She also has served State and Local Government entities throughout her career.

Goal for SBC in this Role:

My goal in the role as Federal Practice Leader is to develop the methodologies, services and knowledge to serve our federal government clients and to provide exceptional service, high-quality solutions, and proactive advice and guidance to these clients.
